Hello, fellow students and soon to be professors! It’s me, Blessing, from Blessing’s Creations and this week you will be learning about the best school apps to help you ace all of your tests! Before I start the list I have to say that every single app is free and are compatible with android and Apple phones.
If you need help with math and you are a visual learner then this app is for you, the app is called Photomath and all you need to do is write down your math question and take a picture of it with the app. The app will give you the answer as well as how it got it. If you wold rather write it out on the app, they have that as an option too.
The app also has a place where you can look up problems in math texts books, which i think is a great addition to an already good app, but you only have access to it if your willing to pay ten dollars a month. Besides that i think the app is definitely a 5 star rating!
The second app is Focus plant, this is a game type of app that helps you get off your phone. How can a game get you off your phone, you ask? Well, this app is a game about plants that you have to collect raindrops by setting a timer by interacting, studying , basically doing anything off of your phone, if you get on your phone during the timer after 20 seconds it will cancel it and you won‘t get your raindrops. You use raindrops to water your plants, buy items, plant plants, and buy new lands. It’s a really good and smart way of getting off the phone.
You can put the timer on for five to three hours long to gain raindrops, you can get 315 raindrops to 11,340 raindrops. Since the app was made late last year, it is still working on new parts and updates on it for instance, they are making a new part so you can play with friends.
The next app is Quizlet, this is a quiz app where you pick a list which subject you want and pick a quiz that suits what your learning, you can pick between just learning it and having flashcards, matching definitions, typing the answers, and just having a test. They can even make a study plan for you with just the date! The best part about it is that they have ”classes” that you can take on the app, you can also make your own study set and scan documents] like homework for yourself, but you have to pay 1.96 a month to scan a document, you can take the seven day free trial though.
The fourth app is going to be Brain out, Brain out is actually a game just Like Focus Plant, but it helps with being more logical, some of the levels seem really straight foward or easy but they test your logical thinking.
I think this is a great app because it helps with being more attentive about looking at things. The app also has over 100 levels to complete, andthey give you hints if you’re flustered.
Another app is Prodigy, again its a game, but its actually a fun math game where you can play with friends and fight animals and discover trophies.
Your attacks that you make are made by solving math problems, and you complete ”lessons”, and you get coins to buy clothes and house items, or to buy a house. You can also interact with other players too! This is just a really fun way of learning math. It’s. Also a website, if you prefer the computer.
Last but not least, is Khan Academy. Khan Academy is an app that helps you with anything related to school, it gives you videos Fo visual learners and gives you a test afterwards and grades you, if you needed help on a question you could get a hint or a video.
They have every grade subject to which you pick. You get points for each subject you complete, You have classes on their if you want to learn the whole thing.You can search specific subject lessons, like verbs and pronouns, you can look for about anything
